As Daniel Auld is no longer with the Data Citation Index, I have assumed responsibility for liaising with the data repositories he previously worked with. I'm sorry to trouble you; I am contacting you so we can reestablish communications with you and be able to continue covering your repository. Currently we are unable to process COD records due to the formatting of the Author tags. As you can see in the example below the fields are swapped around and the Forename is in the Surname field and vice versa, however this only occurs in some files but it is in the correct order for the other files. Our system only allows us to map the authors one way, therefore for some files the author names are in the incorrect order. If we were to process the records as they are, it would affect citation link within Web of Science as well as Citation count. Is this something that could be resolved so we can continue COD coverage?
