[Cod-bugs] Electing Anatnas Vaitkus as a voting member of the COD Advisory Board

Dear COD AB members,

there is another long standing issue which I would like to bring to your
attention.

Sure you all know Antanas Vaitkus, who is member of COD Vilnius group.
Antanas hardly need introduction in this forum – he made numerous posts
during the last years, worked actively on developing COD software and
curating COD data. He is also participating in CIF dictionary
development with COMCIFS and maintaining the historic IUCr CIF 1.1
dictionaries that are very important for the COD data (since our files
are at the moment CIF 1.1).

Antanas is a member of the COD AB mailing list, but so far has formally
participated as an observer. Recognising his important work done to the
COD and great potential for his future contributions, I suggest electing
Antanas Vaitkus to become a voting member of the COD Advisory Board and
listing his name on the COD main site [1].

Please respond either in this mailing list or use private e-mails of the
COD AB voting members.
